Tuesday:
Your group will arrive on a Tuesday afternoon and will immediately dive into the Alive in You experience. Your first day at Alive in You will be an inspirational, motivational and informative introduction to an amazing week. On Day One, you will meet the other participating Catholic youth groups and find out where you will be working during the 3 days of service at Alive in You. Participants will also be given an introduction to the weekly theme; which is carefully chosen each year with the goal of educating young people about our Catholic faith.
Wednesday-Friday:
Days of Service! Young people will work in assigned teams to perform service activities in your host city. We will have service opportunities of various magnitudes, from simple jobs requiring one group to extreme home and church makeovers for many different groups. Wednesday through Friday will also be packed with high energy morning and evening sessions, individual parish time and opportunities to go to Mass and Eucharistic Adoration.
Friday Night:
Your weekend Catholic Conference begins!
Saturday:
Alive in You builds in a few hours of free time on Saturday morning for you and your group to explore the host city. Upon return, prepare yourself to experience the richness of our Catholic faith during the Alive in You Conference. Your experience will be a perfect blend of spiritual activities, workshops, witness talks, praise and worship and team building. These activities will lead up to Saturday night, the awesome spiritual pinnacle of Alive in You.
Sunday:
Your Alive in You Conference will conclude with the Alive in You highlight video and our final Mass of the week.
How should our group prepare?
Before coming to Alive in You, your youth minister will receive information on how to get your group ready for this amazing experience. Included in this packet will be ideas for events and activities to bring your group together before coming to Alive in You. Also, Alive in You will provide you with a detailed fund raising activity to help pay for your trip.
Alive in you will stay in constant contact with your group as you prepare for your trip. We will help monitor your progress and offer assistance with anything you need. Alive in You will also have a network of people praying for your group as you prepare to participate in this Christ centered experience.
What happens after we get back home?
The most important part of Alive in You is not what happens at camp, it's what happens after camp. It is essential for your group to build on their Alive in You experience back at home. Alive in You will provide information and ideas for events after camp to keep the fire burning and to help young people build on what they learned and experienced at Alive in You.
